Ronell Amour Jr.

Ronel Lamour Jr. is a Fort Lauderdale-raised Senior HVAC Service Technician with approximately 16 years of experience serving South Florida homes and light-commercial properties. His work is grounded in careful diagnosis, honest recommendations and reliable workmanship.

From Hands-On Curiosity to HVAC Expertise

Growing up, Ronel learned the value of fixing things alongside his father. He developed an interest in household equipment, small engines and air conditioners before choosing vocational training in air conditioning, refrigeration and heating after high school. He began as an HVAC helper and gradually advanced into independent service work and senior technician responsibilities.

Diagnosing the Real Problem

Ronel works with air-conditioning systems, heat pumps, electrical controls, refrigerant circuits, thermostats, ductwork, airflow restrictions, condensate drainage and preventive maintenance. He understands the particular challenges posed by South Florida’s heat, humidity and demanding cooling seasons. His priority is to identify the cause of a problem rather than simply replacing parts. He holds an EPA Section 608 Universal Certification and continues learning through manufacturer training, technical manuals and field experience.

Teaching, Trust and the Future

Mentoring apprentices is an important part of Ronel’s work. He values technicians who can explain why a system failed and believes customers deserve to understand which repairs are necessary and which improvements are optional. In the future, he hopes to establish a small HVAC business in South Florida built around skilled employees, straightforward service and lasting relationships.

Outside the Service Truck

Ronel enjoys fishing, working on cars, basketball, football, grilling, music and time with friends and family. He also lends his practical skills to community projects and takes an interest in helping young people explore careers in the skilled trades.
